Constipation is a condition in which we have difficulty in passing stool. Many people seem to think that infrequent bowel movement is what constipation is all about, but that is not necessarily true. An old tried and tested constipation cure is dried isabgol husk soaked in water or milk. This is usually consumed at bedtime, as are some other facilitators of bowel movement, such as flax seeds or linseed oil.
Eat wisely
To ensure that constipation does not keep recurring, you will need to make adjustments in your lifestyle and eating habits. Make your meals rich in fibrous, leafy vegetables, and chew well before swallowing while you are eating meals. Drink plenty of water and fluids throughout the day. Maintain regular sleeping hours. And finally, don’t get worked up about the troublesome visit to the bathroom every morning. You should never underestimate the psycho-somatic effect such nervousness can have on you.
