I hope this helps you when you are in need of immediate relief. Getting to the underlying problem and helping your bowels become healthier are the keys to long term health!

Hi, Chris here.

If you’ve come here looking for constipation cures, then I’m glad you’ve found my website and I hope you find it helpful.

This is my uncensored story of how I went through various constipation cures to find one that worked for me. I work a lot of crazy shifts, changing from days to nights and back to days again and as an emergency veterinarian, I found that I was eating poorly and kept a very irregular schedule of exercise and activity.

This caused me to go to the bathroom very sporadically and eventually led to bloating, abdominal pain and hemorrhoids. I had never experienced this problem before and it made me very uncomfortable.

I know other people who have much worse symptoms than I had and one friend at work, in particular, went to the ER several times because she had such severe pain. At one of her visits, she had a CT scan, and the ER doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong.

Her OB/GYN looked at the scan and saw that she had a tremendous amount of stool in the colon. He treatment included several constipation cures, including an enema and laxatives in the short term. I’m not sure what she has done recently to control her symptoms.

The first step I took was to increase my fiber intake. I tried eating Fiber One bars and this really caused me to get major gas and gas pain so I have had to limit the amount I take. It felt like my gut was getting ready to explode. I also took Dulcolax for a brief period of time which also seemed to help.

I am now eating more fruits and vegetables so this has helped to some degree.

I attempted the “Master Cleanse” but was only able to last for 3 days the first time. I know this is not what is recommended and a lot of Cleanse purists out there would be critical of me quitting. As a medical professional, I know that the body begins to break down protein after 3 days of no dietary protein and you lose muscle mass.

I attempted this again recently and found that by eating the right foods before, during and after the “Master Cleanse”, I was able to stick with the plan. People will say that I didn’t actually perform the cleanse and get the “healing” and “flushing of toxins” that are supposed to happen when you fast during the process but this worked for me.

I can’t tell you what a relief it was and how much better I felt afterward! I know that there are circumstances that this constipation cure is not appropriate os you should definitely ask your doctor before you attempt this. If they think you should stick to traditional treatments, then you should follow their advice.

Here is the diet plan that I followed that made the cleanse much more doable. If this is something your want to try, take a look: click here

I hope this helps and gets you feeling as good as I do now. There are many constipation cures out there and I hope if this doesn’t work for you, you ask a doctor about what is more appropriate for you!
